RITES OF NATURE – Original acrylics 16 x 20 inches, 2012
Oddly enough, this painting was created as a dedication to an earlier painting with the same title that was exhibited in my solo at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre, January 1992 and later completely destroyed when my studio in Kitsilano, Vancouver, B.C. burned down. It was springtime, 2012, and I remembered the 4 x 5.5 foot painting and painted this smaller version!
